Top three in the second tier FKF National Super League win on goal-filled final day as goal difference denies power men an automatic top flight ticket
- On a goal-filled last day of the NSL, Wazito annihilated St. Joseph’s Youth FC 7-1 at Camp Toyoyo grounds in Nairobi to clinch the second division title in style and return to the SPL following their relegation at the end of the 2018 campaign with 81 points from 38 matches
- The power men also won their final game of the campaign by outclassing Eldoret Youth FC 4-2 but in the end, it fell short of grabbing the automatic SPL ticket and will now face Rangers who finished 16th in the SPL in their quest to earn promotion to the first division also for the first time in history
NAIROBI, Kenya- Wazito FC bounced straight-back to the SportPesa Premier League and Kisumu All Stars FC will join them in the top flight for the first time in their history following the season finale of the 2018/19 National Super League (NSL) on Sunday afternoon.
At the same time, Nairobi Stima FC who finished third in the second-tier will play Posta Rangers FC in a two-legged SPL/NSL play-off to decide the last team of the 2019/20 first division.

There was jubilation at the Thika Sub-County Stadium when Kisumu's dream of playing SPL football was fulfilled in sensational fashion when they ran riot against Thika United FC in another 7-1 goal avalanche.
Earn promotion
The former SPL side who missed a penalty with the game at 1-0 were relegated to the third-tier FKF Division One alongside Kakamega High School's Green Commandoes and Kangemi All Stars FC.
Kisumu (80) finished a point adrift of the NSL champions level with third-placed Stima but their superior goal difference delivered them to the Promised Land.
