MOMBASA, Kenya- All the top performers during the just concluded Bandari FC record SportPesa Premier League (SPL) season, were rewarded for their efforts with a four-day trip to Zanzibar during the club's Gala Awards on Tuesday evening.
The awards were held at the Mbaraki Sports Club, two days after the conclusion of Bandari's best-ever performance in Kenya's top flight, which saw them finish in second place, 13 points behind champions Gor Mahia FC.
Hassan Abdalla, who has been electric this season, was unanimously voted as the most consistent performer as he scooped the Best Player Award.
Ugandan Wiliam Wadri was voted the Best Striker gong, after hitting the back of the net 12 times for the Bernard Mwalala side in the league alone.

Number one custodian Farouk Shikhalo was awarded the Best Goalkeeper Award for his outstanding performances throughout the season, helping Bandari boast bragging rights of having the meanest defence in the league.

The Congolese captain, Mulumba, also wasn't left behind as the club awarded him with the Best Defender Award for his ability to martial his troops and not to forget his two important goals for the club.
