NAIROBI, Kenya- The
SportPesa Premier League (SPL) returns after a two-week international break and
all eyes are on Andre Casa Mbungo to deliver a win for the new-look AFC
Leopards SC on match-day two.
Leopards, who were edged 1-0 by their Western neighbors
Kakamega Homeboyz FC, will not have an easy task on their hands as they go up
against Kariobangi Sharks FC on Sunday.
The SportPesa Cup champions forced a 2-2 draw against Western
Stima FC a fortnight ago and a tough test versus a new-look Leopards stands in
their way of a maiden win in the 2019/20 SPL campaign.
The 2016 SPL champions Tusker FC will not have an easy
chance to bounce back from an opening day loss as they take on Mathare United
FC on Saturday afternoon.
Tusker were handed a 5-2 thrashing by holders Gor Mahia FC
on match-day one and both sides will be seeking a first win of the campaign
after a barren draw for Mathare left them in 11th on the log.
