Kabras begin title defence against Kisumu, KCB face Nondies as new Kenya Cup season kicks off

The 2023/24 Kenya Cup will kick off on Saturday 2 December 2023.
- A total of six fixtures will be on the cards this weekend.
- The 23/24 Kenya Cup final will be played on Saturday 4 April 2024.
- The league will be played in a one off, round robin format, with the teams ranked third to sixth battling it out in the Top Six playoffs.
The 2023/24 Kenya Cup will kick off on Saturday 2 December
2023 with a total of six fixtures on the cards.
Defending champions Kabras Sugar will begin their title
defense when they take on league returnees Kisumu in the early kickoff that
will be played at the Kakamega Showground.

Kisumu booked their spot back to the Kenya Cup after a
two-season absence courtesy of finishing in second place in the 2022/23 Kenya
Rugby Union Championship.
Nondescripts, who are the other returnees to the top-flight,
will face a herculean task on day one when they travel to face seasoned winners
KCB RFC at the KCB Sports Club in Ruaraka.

Nondies got back immediate promotion to the Kenya Cup after just
one season in the second division where they managed to clinch the overall
title.
Kenya Harlequins who had a memorable campaign that saw them finishing in fourth place will host the Catholic Monks at the RFUEA Ground.

In other matches, Menengai Oilers will take on Homeboyz at
the Nakuru Showground with Kenyatta University’s Blak Blad welcoming Mwamba to
Kenyatta University while Nakuru battle against Strathmore Leos at the Nakuru
Athletic Club.
