According to Kibet, who is now based in Spain with Nastic Soccer
Academy, being humble is one of the most important qualities for one to thrive
in the beautiful game.
“The main thing a footballer must have is being humble. No
matter what happens be humble and prayerful,” he stated.
The 16-year-old has also made his intentions clear ahead of Kenya’s

“This is a tournament. One opportunity one goal - that is
the main goal of a tournament. You get to learn that in a tournament what you
need to do is to score. When you go to a game, you don’t think about the
opponent. You just have the positive attitude that you are going to win,” he
explained.
Kenya sit at the top of Group A with six points, three more
than the second-placed Somalia who trounced neighbors Sudan 3-0 in their recent
match.
Kibet ended by speaking about his experiences at the Spanish
based Nastic Soccer Academy.
