after edging Kariobangi Sharks 1-0 in a closely contested encounter staged at
the Machakos Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The win, K’Ogalo’s eleventh of the season, also ensured that
the Johnathan McKinstry-coached side remained unbeaten as they strengthened
their quest for a record-extending 21st title with only sixteen
games left before the current campaign comes to an end.
“We are really pleased with the game today because we want
our players to take more shots at goal. If you do not take those chances and
keep on dribbling instead of shooting, you can never score those types of goal.
The team also showed some special character to keep on playing because it was a frustrating game because Sharks kept on committing a lot of fouls. Overall, we are just pleased,” McKinstry noted.
