Record Kenyan champion Gor Mahia FC opened a four point gap
at the top of the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) after a 0-2
win over FC Talanta at the Kakamega-based Bukhungu Stadium on Sunday, December
17.
The Jonathan McKinstry coached side opened their account 12
minutes into the second half through Boniface Omondi with Austine Odhiambo, who

at the top of the log to 31 points, four more than their closest competitors
KCB FC who dismantled Police FC on Saturday.
In another match, AFC Leopards finally won a match after a six-game
winless run (D4 L2).
This is after the multiple league winners stunned title
contenders and pre-match favorites Kakamega Homeboyz by two unanswered goals at
the Nyayo National Stadium.
Ingwe opened the scoring in the 34th minute thanks to

The goal gave Leopards, who have struggled a lot this season
in front of goal, more confidence, which enabled the players to play more
freely, launching several attacks on their rivals.
The constant pressure paid off in the 39th minute when
Hassan Beja hit the back of the net after receiving a neat pass from Maxwell
Otieno.
Elsewhere, Posta Rangers were beaten 0-1 by Muhoroni Youth while Tusker FC hammered hosts Nzoia Sugar 0-2 at Sudi Stadium.
