K’Ogalo were beaten 0-1 in their first encounter against Red Arrows from Zambia before drawing 1-1 against AS Ali Sabieh Djibouti Telecom in their second group encounter, leaving them with only one point from two matches.

On the other hand, Al Hilal got their tournament off to the perfect start by beating Telecom 2-0 before thrashing Red Arrows 5-0, safely ensuring that they will move to the semifinals of the regional showpiece

Speaking ahead of the clash, the respected Ibenge played it cool as he talked about Gor Mahia.

“I saw a very good game when Gor Mahia played against Red Arrows. It was an amazing match so it will be difficult. We scored five goals against Red Arrows but that does not mean it will be easy when we play Gor.

I saw them and they keep the ball, play football and it will be tough so we have to take it serious,” Ibenge told SportPesa News.

Gor Mahia will be playing for nothing but bragging rights when they take on the Sudanese giants as they cannot progress past the group stages as either one of the group winners or the best runner up in the competition.

The maximum points K’Ogalo can get is four points if they beat Al Hilal, which will leave them one point short of SC Villa who currently have the best runner-up ticket as they have amassed five points.
