NAIROBI, Kenya- Malkia Strikers captain Mercy Moim is brimming with confidence ahead of the All Africa Games (AAG) qualifiers set for Lugogo Indoor Arena in Uganda, Kampala on May 18 to 25.
Moim assured Kenya will book the sole ticket reserved for the Africa Zone V in the competition which will give the country a chance to defend the AAG trophy which Kenya won in Brazzaville, Congo in 2015 after 16 year drought.
"No team is a threat to us, we will beat them all because we are in top shape," Moim underlined after the final travelling squad was named at Kasarani Indoor Arena in Nairobi on Thursday.

The team has been stepping up training at the venue since May 6 under head coach Japheth Munala and renown Italian tactician Shailen Ramdoo.
“Ramdoo is a very experienced coach who has helped top countries to win medals in many international contests,” Kenya Volleyball Federation President Waithaka Kioni told SportPesa News.
The 12th AAG tournament will be held on August 19 -31 in Moroccan cities of Rabat and Casablanca.

“The players who have made the cut will also represent the country in the forthcoming Africa Nations Cup in Cairo, Egypt in June, Intercontinental Olympics Qualifiers in Italy in August and the Women's World Cup in Japan the same month,” Kioni highlighted.
Kioni said the selected squad is comprised of a blend of youth and experience which should earn Kenya victories in the coming contests.
