- Mumias Golf Club hard hitter Dismas Indiza started off his 2019 Magical Kenya Open Golf Championship campaign to a flyer on Thursday, finishing round one with a two under-par 69 to leave him fifth on the log tentatively
- Indiza struggled in par-5, 12th, par-4, 13th and par-3, 14th holes before recording a par in the rest for a total of 37 points in the back nine. He found the groove back in the first nine to play blemish-free for a total of 32
- Indiza will be teeing off at the first tee tomorrow at 1:00pm (+3GMT) alongside India’s Shubhankar Sharma who finished with a three over par 74 and Spain’s Adri Arnaus who ended the course with a five under par 66 to top the leader board as of 3:00pm in Round One
NAIROBI, Kenya- Mumias Golf Club hard hitter Dismas Indiza started off his 2019 Magical Kenya Open Golf Championship campaign to a flyer on Thursday, finishing round one with a two under-par 69 to leave him fifth on the log tentatively.

“The course is in good shape; the fairways are a bit dry, but the greens are holding. It only got a bit tricky with the wind in the morning, so those playing in the afternoon should be very careful,” Indiza underlined.

“I tried my best to hit well since I started with consecutive birdies but struggled in some of the challenging holes.
“I later calmed down and played well but it was generally a decent outing for me today. I feel I don’t have much to improve on going into round two tomorrow,” he added.
