NAIROBI, Kenya-
Harambee Stars midfield ace Francis Kahata is confident and has urged fans to
turn up and show support as Kenya take on Uganda in an international friendly
on Sunday, September 8, 2019.
The Simba SC player has been part of the camp at the
Kasarani Stadium under new head coach Francis Kimanzi and his assistant former
Gor Mahia FC journeyman Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno.
Stars will take on Uganda at the Kenyan football cathedral
on Sunday from 4pm, in the first of their friendly matches lined up for the
international break.
“The morale is high and the mood in the camp is very
positive, we are more than ready for the game on Sunday.

“I urge all the fans to come in large numbers to show
support as they always do and us as the players will do our best to give them a
good performance,” the 2018/19 Kenyan Premier League midfielder of the year
stated.
Every player has now reported to camp with Beijing
Renhe’s midfielder Ayub Timbe the last to arrive on Wednesday afternoon.
“Uganda are a good team, they have improved and it’s not
going to be an easy game for either side.
“We have also gotten to a much better level than we were
before and I’m confident we will come out on top,” Kahata concluded.
