“It may not be my job, but I recently spoke with one of my friends who owns a club in Europe who are champions in their country and also play in the European Cup.
“I recommended Omalla and Onyango to him and the boys know about it. He watched our 5-0 win against Seychelles and will come before the winter transfer period to see the boys live and watch some more matches before he makes up his mind,” Firat was quoted by People Daily.
Although Firat lauded Onyango and Omalla with praises, he also mentioned some of their shortcomings.

“They are young and talented and I tell them what they have and what they need to improve on to make them better and take their game to a higher level. For example, how to keep the ball safe while dribbling.
I also avail to them analysis videos on their WhatsApp after their matches with the national team,” he stated.

Onyango has been one of Gor Mahia’s dependable players this season, scoring two goals including the last-minute match winner against Shabana. He also netted his first goal for Harambee Stars against Seychelles in what was just his third game in the national team.
Omalla on the other hand is the current 23/24 Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) leading goal scorer (7) and he also opened his account for Harambee Stars in the game against Seychelles.
The Harambee Stars head coach, who recently received a lot for backlash for failing to name Omalla in his other squads added that he is certain one or both players will land the move.
