NAIROBI, Kenya- Following the Kenya Sevens team impressive performance in the Vancouver leg of the 2017/18 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, bagging silver after losing to Fiji in the Main Cup finals, President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga on Monday led tributes on social media for the teams gallant performance.

In football, after the sixth round of matches in the Kenya Premier League (KPL), SportPesa News takes a look at the roll of winners and losers from the weekend’s performances.

Kenya, arch rivals Ethiopia and United States shared the medals at international distance running showdowns spread across the streets of Barcelona, Lisbon and Rome on Sunday.

NAIROBI, Kenya- After the sixth round of matches in the 2018 Kenya Premier League (KPL) season, record league winners Gor Mahia FC, asserted their dominance in the local top flight by securing a five-point lead at the summit after a 1-0 victory over Nzoia Sugar FC on Sunday.
