On the morning of France versus Spain, a couple of the Spanish papers have had a guess at predicting the line-ups for tonight’s match at the Stade de France.
Both Mundo Deportivo and Sport agree on the French XI, with Didier Deschamps set to play a 4-3-3 formation lead by Antoinne Griezmann, Karim Benzema and Mathieu Valbuena up front.
Les Blues’ strength appears to come in midfielder, where Paul Pogba is joined by Yohan Cabaye and Blaise Matuidi.
The hosts backline has a strong Premier League flavour to it, with players from Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City all set to start, alongside ex-Man united man Patrice Evra.
As for Spain, the big question seems to be whether La Roja pick David Silva in a more attacking line-up, or whether Athletic Bilbao’s defensive midfielder Ander Iturraspe should get a chance to impress.
What’s not in doubt is the inclusion of Chelsea dup Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas, and the Chelsea men will be employed to create chances against the French.
