The Gunners are rumoured to be keen to sign 30-year-old Juventus full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner.
There could be a huge United bid for Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte on the way.
Highly rated Laporte is a tall and combative defender, he also has a £32m release clause.
Manchester United , Liverpool and Tottenham are said to be interested in Bayer Leverkusen defender Omer Toprak.
Germany midfielder Marco Reus is being heavily linked with a move to Anfield. He had been in talks with his club Borussia Dortmund over a new deal but it is thought that talks have collapsed.
Man City are the latest team to show an interest in signing Real Madrid’s midfielder Sami Khedira. Chelsea, Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool have all been linked previously.
