Manchester United are making a final push to sign Angel Di Maria from Real Madrid with talks intensifying between the two clubs.
United have made signing Di Maria one of their key priorities this summer and are believed tohave lodged a £55million offer.
Madrid have yet to respond to the bid, preferring to sell the player to PSG instead, but the Red Devils are making a final push to do business.
According to AS newspaper, chief executive Ed Woodward held talks with senior officials earlier this week and an agreement on terms is getting closer.
It’s expected that one final bid will be put on the table in the coming days, and then it’s up to Madrid to decide whether they will let the deal happen.
Di Maria has so far stayed silent on his future but he’s previously made it clear that he is a big fan of English football and would like to play in the Premier League one day.
