#KPL TODAY: AFC Leopards Eager to Claw Ushuru.

Ushuru face an epic battle as they take on AFC leopards this afternoon in a #KPL clash at Nyayo stadium.Both the teams look to be in good shape, after winning their previous fixtures, in precise confidence and style.

Ingwe managed to hold defending champions Gor mahia to a 1-1 draw in a hotly contested derby matchup. They further proceeded to maul KCB 3-0 in a midweek clash, while Ushuru drubbed Mathere united 2-1

Ingwe will be banking on Wycliffe Kasaya in goal, with Edwin Wafula, Martin Kiiza, Jackson Saleh and Abdalla Juma in defence. Joseph Wanyonyi, Musa Mudde and perhaps Ezekiel Seda or Khalid Jumaan deep in the midfield with Austine Ikenna ,Klemo Kabimba, Emmanuel Ngama and Karim Ndugwa going upfront for goals.

“We are slowly climbing up despite the off pitch issues. I’m happy with our determination as a unit and the boys are playing with their hearts out to maintain their image,” said Logarusic.

Ushuru head coach Ken Kenyatta is optimistic the #KPL championship is still far to predict.

Kenyatta remains confident his side lying 11th in the table with nine points will emerge victors. He said he is fully prepared to face Ingwe.

“We just need to stay focused. I keep reminding my boys we take every match as it comes. We have prepared well for the match with no major injury to worry.”

Ushuru’s duo of Charles Okwemba and Eric Masika will come face to face with their former club that makes the match quite interesting to watch.

Former Tusker goalkeeper Samuel Odhiambo will stand between the sticks for the taxmen with Richard Mmboyi, Davies Ikocheli, David Otieno, and Evans Kiwanuka manning the defense.

Okwemba, Kapilima Kanamuli, Nelson Marasowe and Allan Kateregga will take charge in the midfield with Moses Arita, Barrack Odhiambo, Muhammad Hassan and Roosevelt Blaty seeking for goals upfront.
