NAIROBI, Kenya- KCB FC head coach, Leonard Saleh, has rallied his troops to seal promotion to the 2018 SportPesa Premier League by winning all their remaining three fixtures.

The Bankers, who are in their second season in the National Super League (NSL), dropped to fourth (70), two adrift of leaders Ushuru FC in a tight race to escape the second-tier.

Second-placed Vihiga United FC and Wazito FC are locked on 71 points as the NSL heads down to the wire.

Saleh is optimistic that KCB will bounce back in their clash against fifth-placed Nairobi Stima FC (64) at Camp Toyoyo over the weekend.

“There are three matches to the end of the season, all which are finals. We have to start with Stima then prepare for the last two but we also have to pray other results go our way.

Targeting victory

“Of course our dream is finishing among the top positions and return to the SPL,” the KCB boss Saleh remarked.

League leaders Ushuru, make the trip to Kisumu to play Palos FC with Ken Kenyatta and his taxmen targeting victory if they are to consolidate their lead at the top after losing 1-2 to Nairobi City Stars FC last time out.

Frank Ouna’s Wazito have a date with former SPL side Nakuru All Stars FC at the Afraha Stadium.

Second-placed, Vihiga are not in action this weekend as they will play Palos next Wednesday.

In other matches, Kenya Police FC will clash with St. Joseph’s Youth at Sher Karuturi grounds in Naivasha as Kibera Black Stars FC take on Modern Coast Rangers FC at Hope Centre.

Relegation threatened Agro Chemicals FC welcome GFE 105 in Muhoroni while City Stars clash with Administration Police FC at Hope Centre. Mosca FC will tackle Bidco United FC at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
