NAIROBI, Kenya- International golfers Justin Harding and Matias Calderon will be among the attractions at the 2018 KCB Karen Masters Sunshine Tour tournament where KSh15m will be up for grabs for the winner.
South Africa’s world number 161 Harding and Calderon, 26, from Chile will be the players to watch in the four-day professional golfers event that will feature top Sunshine Tour golfers among them Trevor Fisher Junior, JJ Senekal, Rourke Van Der Spuy, Daniel Van Tonder and Alex Haindl in the July 19-22 showdown in Nairobi.
“When you look at the confirmed entries, it is a clear testimony of the value of the KCB Karen Masters, golfers have been competing since the onset of the year for the limited slots, we will have top ranked players jetting in for the event,” Karen Masters Tournament Director Andy Watt ascertained.
Chilean Rising star Calderon is brimming with confidence ahead of the second edition of the event.
“I have played quite well this year and hopefully I will grab top honours. The level of competition will be quite high and pace will dictate my results from the onset.
“Hopefully I can maintain consistency the four rounds as the overnight leader,” Calderon undercored.

The final leg of KCB Road to the Masters will take place this weekend at Par 71 Muthaiga Golf club with 24 local amateur golfers having already booked a ticket to the Masters Pro-Am tournament.
