Botswana has named an 18-member team that is due in Nairobi on Thursday May 7th for the Africa Championships qualifier return leg matchagainst Kenya on Saturday, May 9th 2015.
Several players in the Nairobi-bound team were part of the under-17 side that qualified for the 2013 Africa Championships. Among the players given the nod by head coach Pio Paul are Omaatla Kebatho and Onkabete Makgantai both who were on target in the young Zebras 3-0 win over Kenya in the first leg match in Gaborone 10days ago.
Following the defeat, Kenya will need a 4-0 win to advance with the winner of the two legs meeting Zambia in the next qualifier.
The team that finish on top three at the championship automatically qualify for the 2016 Olympics in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
