Arsenal are being linked with Fenerbahce’s Emmanuel Emenike, the DailySport claims.
The Gunners are being linked with a £15 Million move for the Nigerian, who has been doing well for his Turkish side.
Emenike has scored 13 goals in his 32 appearances for the Super Lig side, and has scored seven goals in his 12 competitive international matches for Nigeria.
Chelsea were rumoured to have been interested in the forward earlier this year, and are claimed to have bid £16 Million in June, but no move prevailed. They have since signed the free-scoring Diego Costa, who has scored more goals than he has played games for the Premier League leaders.
Arsenal have so far failed to match the leaders, and currently sit nine points behind the leaders in eighth place, having scored 10 goals less after seven PL games.
The North-London club will need to find some form soon if they are to challenge for this season’s Premiership title.
The 27 year-old could arrive in January to give the Gunners a much needed boost, but if their recent inconsistent form continues, the title may be too far out of reach.
