Ghana winger Andre Ayew has revealed his interest to join English Premier League side West Ham United but insists the club has not made an official bid to sign him.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a winter move to the Hammers, beating Everton, Newcastle United and Liverpool to his signature.
But Ayew has revealed the London club has made no official bid to sign him though he admits his readiness to join the club.
“I’m always interested to play abroad. There’s no offer from West Ham but if the chance arrived, West Ham is an excellent team,” he said.
West Ham emerged in the race to sign the enterprising winter who has taken the French top-flight by storm, guiding Marseille to a brilliant performance this season.
But the Hammers are expected to beat competition from Everton, Newcastle United – who have gotten a penchant for signing French Ligue 1 players and Liverpool.
