According to unconfirmed Précis, Spanish manager Pep Guardiola has agreed to coach a top English Premier League side next season, as rumors of his Allianz Arena exit intensify.
There is wide speculation that, Pep Guardiola has agreed to coach, EPL league side (Manchester City) next season. Pep has encountered a rough time at the Allianz Arena in the last couple of weeks which have seen his team slump to a four game losing- streak, denting their hopes of capturing the Bundesliga treble.
It all started with their DFB- Pokal semifinals defeat to rivals Borrusia Dortmund, which was followed by a 2-0 loss to Bayer Leverkusen, Then a 3-0 champions league thrashing by previous side Barcelona and a lastly a shock 1-0 loss to Augsburg.
According to reports running all over the internet, the former Barcelona boss could exit the Allianz Arena in favor of a move to the English Premier League, despite still having one more year remaining on his contract with the German side.
Pep’s alleged move to the Etihad was first reported by BeIn Sports’ Arabic Twitter account which tweeted: Manchester City reached a tentative agreement with Bayern Munich coach Guardiola to train the team for next season.” They pointed out Manchester Evening News as there source.
Manchester city, of course, have long been admirers of the 44-year-old Spanish manager, and were keen on landing his services when he came out of sabbatical. Now, however, with Manuel Pellegrini reportedly set to get the boot, City can reignite their interest and carry on in their attempts to lure Pep to the Etihad.
