Adnan Januzaj puts in encouraging performance against Cambridge.
Adnan Januzaj started just his third game of the season or Manchester United in the 0-0 draw against Cambridge United on Friday night.
Whilst Abbey Road and the opponents it held were different to Chelsea and Manchester City, he was one of United’s few positive performers.
However, after a switch out wide in the second half, the Belgian gave supporters every reason to believe he can still fulfill his unquestionable talent. There have been constant rumours of a loan move for Januzaj given his lack of games but his performance late on as United searched for a winner won’t have gone unnoticed by Louis van Gaal.
Januzaj put in several teasing balls and some superb footwork in stoppage time gave late chances to Robin van Persie and Angel Di Maria but both were thwarted by Cambridge goalkeeper Chris Dunn.
