Sony Sugar goalkeeper Jairus Adira has set his sight on winning their match against Thika United at Awendo Green Stadium on Saturday.
The sugar miller feels his colleagues can sweeten the visitors’ milk after a winless run of four matches of which they have lost three. Speaking to Goal on Wednesday, Adira revealed that the team is going for nothing less than maximum points against Thika which has also lost two games in row.
“We are looking forward to turn around our fortunes; it has been a bad run which we want to end. The best way to do it is by getting all the three points against Thika. Yes it is a good team but we have the edge to oust them. The team has not been bad but we have been unlucky.
“Our form had deepened mixed with injuries that affected our performance and output. Still we are determined to give our best and be consistent. Not that the opponents have been better than us, we have just been unlucky because our level of commitment has been good, just that we could not utilize the chances we created.
“This weekend will be the turning point for us, we are confident with the right attitude, we will emerge victorious and that will give us extra motivation.”
