FKF nominates trio for JEC
The path towards resolution of the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) and Sportpesa Premier League (SPL) impasse over top flight expansion has taken off with the FKF naming a three man team that will represent it in the Joint Executive Committee (JEC) set to mediate over the process.
The federation has nominated its president Nick Mwendwa, vice president Doris Petra and the National Executive Committee (NEC) member representing Nairobi Chris Amimo for the talks over the impasse as directed by the Sports Disputes Tribunal on Tuesday 10th January.
The FKF has also listed its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Robert Muthomi as the joint secretary to the committee, with the SPL management also set to nominate its secretary alongside the three representatives.
The federation, in the letter confirming the same, sent to the league management, has called on the SPL management to plan for a JEC meeting on Friday 13th January at the FKF boardroom in Kasarani.
