Brewers get Bryne back
Tusker FC goalkeeper Bryne Omondi is back with the Sportpesa Premier League (SPL) champions after spending the 2016 season on loan at second tier side Agrochemicals FC and as the Brewers prepare for the 2017 campaign, the youngster’s return has been marked as a great addition to the team.
The team is expected to release keeper Martin Musalia while Duncan Ochieng has been rumored to be heading into coaching and though assistant coach Francis Baraza could not confirm about the two, he pointed that Bryne’s return will boost the department, having gained massive experience.
“We have Bryne back in the team and he has already resumed training with his mates following the loan stint at Agro last year. His return is good and he adds some good depth to the team as we prepare for 2017 season.
“Having played a number of matches at the team I am sure Tusker will benefit from his experience and the goalkeeping department is now secure,” he said.
The team is yet to release the list of already dropped players though midfielder Osborne Monday is staid to have joined newly promoted side Kariobangi Sharks.
