Manchester United are ready to meet Borussia Dortmund’s £30m valuation for Henrikh Mkhitaryan, according to The Guardian.
Mkhitaryan, 27, has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in the last month after his agent Mino Raiola revealed United was his dream club.
The Armenia international has entered the final 12 months of his existing deal and has no intentions of extending his stay with Dortmund, forcing their hand to sell this summer rather let another star leave on a free transfer.
Mkhitaryan finished last season as the highest rated player in the Bundesliga (7.90) after playing a direct hand in 26 goals in 31 appearances (11 goals, 15 assists). In the last two Bundesliga campaigns only three players have completed more accurate through balls than the Dortmund ace (8).
