Borussia Dortmund (BVB; Germany) and Manchester United (England) continue the talks over the transfer of Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, reported GianlucaDiMarzio.com.
Even though the English club had offered €25 million for the services of the captain of the Armenian national football squad, BVB had turned down this bid. It is noted that the German club demand €40 million for Mkhitaryan.
His working contract with the German club runs until the summer of 2017, but the parties cannot come to an agreement on its extension.
The Armenia international’s Italian agent, Mino Raiola, had noted that the 27-year-old midfielder wishes to transfer to Man United.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan has scored 23 goals and had 29 assists in 52 appearances in all competitions last season for Dortmund.
