The rivalry between bitter rivals has now been extended to the junior ranks after AFC Leopards were paired against Gor Mahia in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) under 20 tournament.
The tournament slated for April 17-30 in Nairobi has pooled Youth teams of clubs featuring in the Sportpesa Premier League in four groups of four clubs each.
Gor Mahia and Ingwe are in the pool A which is the group of death featuring defending champions Western Stima and Sofapaka.
Group B consists of Tusker, Mathare United, Posta Rangers and Chemelil Sugar.

In group D, Thika United will have to contend with rivalry posed by Muhoroni Youth, Kakamega Homeboyz and Nairobi City Stars.
The top two teams from each group will proceed to the quarter finals.
AFC Leopards coach Boniface Ambani said the pool was good as it will make his boys who are mainly aged under 17 years to be battle hardened for future battles.
The competition is a winner takes all system where the winning team will walk away with Sh500, 000 as their will be no consolation prizes for the losers.
Betting firm Sportpesa has injected Sh19 million to facilitate the championship that will be held three times this year.
The tournament will be played during the school holidays in April, August and December.
The KPL chief executive officer Jack Oguda said they have put in place measures to curb age cheating and any team found guilty of that malpractice will be disqualified.
